Reform

To improve by
◉ alteration,
◉ correction of errors,
◉ removal of defects.

Reforms keep social movements thriving.

Unificationism

A monotheistic worldview inspired by the late Rev. Sun Myung Moon and his spouse Hak Ja Han Moon and championed by an international community of devoted but tolerant adherents.

Pragma

In contrast to abstract Idealism, the pragmatic theory of truth argues that truth and reality can only be understood in relation to how things work in the real world.

WHAT WE CAN DO FOR YOU

Top-down religious movements are not known to seek reform by listening intently to their adherents. However, when the people comprising social movements − religious, cultural, or even political − continue to talk openly with each other, even once vibrant new religious movements may have their relevancy and appeal restored. Discourse and people matter for healthy communities — reform privileges pragmatism over idealism.

Reformed Unificationism gives you, a leader or member, an unhindered adult voice − if only there is something you want to say in support of Unification reforms. Or take an ear if you want to hear your people’s voices. You also may know an answer to another person’s question! Please, sign up for a low-cost subscription to the Unification Forum and connect with other participants. Other forums are open to almost all.

“Living for the sake of others?” What a splendid idea. It speaks to the divine within all of us.

Disclaimer

Reformed Unificationism is a new, independent, and unofficial undertaking by U.S.-based Unificationists and NOT affiliated with the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU), Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity (HSA-UWC), Unification Church (UC), World Peace and Unification Sanctuary, Global Peace Foundation, or any other formal Unification-associated organization. We care for the overall brand of Unificationism.

Reformed Unificationism does not wish to start a new, formal organization in opposition to any of the aforementioned organizations. Instead, Reformed Unificationism advocates for pragmatic approaches to the challenge of the human condition. We expect candid speech (discourse). This endeavor is intended to be a supportive resource for Unificationists seeking a fresh orientation in life. Let there be ‘dialogue.’

Reformed Unificationism is, besides a forum, a publishing platform for authors. All views expressed on this site are the views of their respective authors. Christian, psychoanalytic, and Marxist language is allowed. Censorship, that is, restricting an author to speaking in only the Judeo-Christian language or not speaking in the Judeo-Christian language at all, is not tolerated. People need to talk to each other as they please. And they are encouraged to read William James.
